Client: Cricket NSW Project: “Is your Backyard Big Enough?” CD Rom
Summary:
After seeing what we did for Cricket Australia, Cricket NSW recognized an opportunity to reinforce the primary school visits their top-flight male and female cricketers were making. We were asked to develop an interactive CD Rom which was included in a showbag of goodies given to kids.
Required outcomes:
Encourage participation in the various Cricket NSW junior game development programs
Generate interest in both the Men’s and Women’s NSW cricket teams
Target audience:
Primary: School children aged 6-12
Secondary: Parents, teachers and coaches - provide information about Cricket NSW programs and initiatives
Brief:
Create an environment, and related games, based on the “Is your backyard big enough?” theme
Use of video interviews and game footage to promote key players in both the Men’s and Women’s teams
Provide information for parents, teachers and coaches on the various Cricket NSW programs
Recognise the generous support of MILO in the ‘Have A Go’ program
Process:
Initial brief conducted by teleconference to outline project objectives, requirements, key deliverables and timeline
A project timeline was created to outline how and when we would complete each stage of production
Concept variations were presented via PDF for the client to comment on and request changes
Regular teleconferences to keep the client abreast of progress, reinforce deadlines and ensure their objectives were being met
